Last week (January 17 - 18) took place at the NEC Birmingham, and the Farmers Guardian team have reported live from the event for this special podcast.Ìý

Head of machinery, Toby Whatley, caught up with Ben Briggs, group publisher, to talk all about the mood at this year's show and the outlook for the machinery market.Ìý

Emily Ashworth, Farmers Guardian's online editor, headed up the brand-new careers zone and spoke to our careers ambassadors Will Roobottom and Bizza Walters about taking students from urban areas around LAMMA, something that has never happened before.Ìý

You can also hear from Jennie Devine, head of education at NFU, about the importance of connecting kids from non-farming backgrounds to the industry, and Forces Farming, an initiative that helps fill the labour gap by getting army veterans into the sector.
