Corringham Lambda S Gremlin
The fourth calver by Farnear Delta-Lambda out of Corringham Shottle owned by Adrian Salter-Chalker and D.W. and C.E. Jones, Newport.听
Bred by R.V. Winter and Sons, it was bought from them by Mr Jones when he was judging at Lincolnshire Show three years ago and then sold for 48,000gns to Mr Salter-Chalker at听 their subsequent herd sale, who gifted them a share back and the cow is still kept with the Jones'.
Having calved in July 2025 and giving 40kg daily it was champion at the Welsh Dairy Show in last year.

Reserve inter-breed
Reserve inter-breed went to the Jersey champion, Whiteoaks Matt Aloe 4 from Manning and Murray, Shropshire. The third calver by Wilson View If Matt, which was being shown for the first time this year, is 10 months calved and giving 24kg daily, and was bought as an in-calf heifer from Whiteoaks Farming.
Judge, Ian Collins, Dewsbury, said there were five outstanding cows in the championship and it was a very close call between champion and reserve, but the Holstein walked slightly better on exceptional feet and legs, but the Jersey had a phenomenal udder given the time it had been calved.
The heifer inter-breed championship also went to a Holstein from the Jones family, this time Wolfa Has It All Fawn, a two-year-old daughter of Duckett Parfect Has It All.
In reserve was the Jersey heifer, home-bred Windyridge Tequila Finnoula by Towervue Prime Tequila, also from Manning and Murray.
Reserve Holstein went to Tregibby Chief Flute, a second calver by Stantons Cheifer exhibited by Castellhyfryd and Lliwe Holsteins, Brynhyfryd, Carmarthenshire. Bought from the Wilsons as a calf, it calved in March and is currently giving 56kg daily. This was its first outing this season after being champion at Pembrokeshire County Show last year.听

Dairy Shorthorn
The Thomas family, Drysgol Farms, Newcastle Emylyn, took both champion and reserve in the Dairy Shorthorn section. Taking the top spot was the fourth calver, Drisgol Gamma 66 by a home-bred bull which calved in March and is currently giving 35kg.
Their reserve was Drisgol Belladonna 504, a second calver by Bushmills Jazz, was heifer champion at the show last year.
Brown Swiss
The Brown Swiss championship went to Toi Toi Genetics, Shropshire, with the third calver, Toi Toi My Mum's A Hoover by Cozynook Daredevil Toby. Having calved in March and giving 32kg, it had been coloured breed champion at UK Dairy Expo in March and breed听 and reserve inter-breed champion at Royal Cheshire Show.
In reserve, from the same exhibitors, was the champion's grandmother, Kedar Aurora, a seventh calver by Nesta Jenor, which has twice been the top producing Brown Swiss in the country.
Reserve Jersey was Erie Lonestar Gorgeous, a second calver by Lostbrooke Hg Lonestar from the Rickard and Morgan families, Gwent. Having calved in April, it is currently giving 30kg daily.
Ayrshire
Rob and Kath Granville, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan, won their first Ayrshire breed championship at the show with the home-bred heifer in-milk. Gelli Garedig Hail Judy, a daughter of Brieryside Hail, which calved in May and is producing 32kg daily.
They also had the reserve breed champion, the winning maiden heifer, September 2025-born Gelli Garegig Heirloom Quilt by Pam Ayrs Heirloom.听
