Shadow Defra Secretary Victoria Atkins said: "Lets not forget EU farmers are heavily subsidised because they are still members of CAP, whereas this Government has just removed, pretty much, all forms of support for our farmers. The problem with the recent EU reset is that it prioritises importers over domestic producers. They are operating at a positive disadvantage to EU farmers."
