Top price for the flock from Kirkby Stephen, was a January-born embryo by the home-bred 30,000gns Howgillfoot Commander, a Pyeston Real Deal daughter. Bred from the same family as the 25,000gns Lakeview sold last year, it is out of a Frongoy Rocket daughter. It was knocked down to A. Allman, Okehampton, who also paid Ìý22,000gns Howgillfoot ewe lamb which this time is by Castleisle Blackadder and out of a different Frongoy Rocket daughter.

At 12,000gns was the number one from James Innes' Strathbogie flock, Huntly. This Rempstone Gambler gimmer is out of a Crewelands Kingpin daughter. It sold to Messrs Priestley, County Down, in lamb to Howgillfoot Royal Mint.

Two shared a 10,000gns price tag including the pre-sale champion, a ewe lamb by Rhaeadr Northern Champ from Myfyr Evans, Denbigh. Selling to Messrs Barclay, Aberdeenshire, it is out of a 16,000gns Kings ewe by Castlewood Shark.

Also at 10,000gns when sold to Cannon Hall Farm, Barnsley, was the reserve champioin, a Lakeview 1 Up gimmer from Charlie and Tom Boden's Sportsmans flock, Stockport. It scanned a pair to the 15,000gns Howgillfoot Rocky and its dam is by the 200,000gns Salopian Solid Gold.
