Over the three seasons of the show, which started filming prior to Covid-19, Mr Clarkson has successfully intertwined the humour of farming and the sheer hard work that goes into it, with the sorrow and many challenges farmers face day-in and day-out to produce food.

British farming

Producers of the show have teased what could be in store for fans in the new season, including the former Top GearÌý host's journey into buying a pub, The Farmer's Dog, which has made a promise to source as much produce from British farmers as possible.

However, Mr Cooper raised more than £25,000 for Prostate Cancer UK after disclosing late last year that he was now cancer-free.

Autumn Budget

The show may also document Chancellor Rachel Reeves' Autumn Budget changes to Inheritance Tax and Agricultural Property Relief, with Mr Clarkson having joined forces with farmers at a London protest in November where he urged the Government to 'back down' and save small British family farms.

Shortly after opening his pub in August, the broadcaster announced that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer would be banned from entering the premises after claiming he was 'out of touch' with rural communities.

Clarkson's Farm will return on May 23.
