Holstein young breeders shave hair for charity

Nearly £5,000 has been raised by two young Holstein breeders who shaved their hair off for charity at the All Breeds All Britain calf show.

Kyle Scott, 13, who is a member of the Scottish Holstein Young Breeders, shaved off his mullet-style hairstyle alongside Andrew McRae, 20, who is on a Holstein exchange from Australia in a bid to raise money for the charity close to their hearts.ÌýÌýÌý

The pair initially had a £500 fundraising target, but they surpassed this and have raised £4,478 so far.ÌýÌý

Kyle, whose grandfather, Billy, died of cancer in 2022, said he wanted to raise money for those involved in the Holstein community who have battled the disease.Ìý
