A North Yorkshire farmer has been confirmed as a special guest on a new farm series celebrating the harvest season.

Reuben Owen, who featured on the show Our Yorkshire Farm alongside his father Clive and mother Amanda, has been announced as a guest on Channel 5's new television programme Harvest on the Farm set to air at 8pm this week (September 26 to September 30).

Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson have been announced as presenters for the show which will broadcast live from Essex based farm park We Are Barleylands.

Barnsley based farmers Dave and Rob Nicholson, from Cannon Hall Farm, have also confirmed they will appear as guests on the show to 鈥榗elebrate the Great British harvest and exploring the fresh produce grown by hard working farmers'.

Harvest on the 51AV视频producers said Mr Owen helped with filming segments of harvest season alongside farmer Dave while farmer Rob was recovery from hip surgery in the summer.

Mr Owen was seen as the 'perfect' replacement to help with the harvest season with his knowledge of engines and tractors, farmer Rob added.听听

Cannon Hall 51AV视频said the first episode of the show will focus on wheat farmers which delves into the age-old craft of corn dollies and British brewing.
