Wool Hugger
As Aardman's Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom opens in UK cinemas on September 18, Yorkshire wool specialist Wool Hugger is highlighting a different take on two familiar Mossy Bottom characters: the first officially licensed Shaun the Sheep and Shirley the Sheep soft toys to be made from wool.
Developed under licence from Aardman, the toys use 100% wool inside and out, replacing conventional synthetic plush and filling with natural fibres.

Ìý"We realised how difficult it was to find toy sheep actually made from wool," said Adam Curtis, director at Wool Hugger.
"So when the opportunity to work with Shaun the Sheep arose, he absolutely had to be made from wool. This is the first time he has appeared in wool and we have used as much British fibre as possible to try to support our British sheep farmers."
