Krone adds Pro spec option to smaller four-rotor rakes

Building on the existing Swadro 1250 models, the new Pro model retains its 8.25m transport length and adjustable working width of 9.8m to 12.5m, while introducing enhanced operator comfort and automation.

Standard features now include active hydraulic rotor relief, soft-down rotor lowering and electric rotor height adjustment, all aimed at improving ground following, reducing forage contamination and protecting the sward. The rake also operates with new automatic headland functions, including timed or distance-based rotor lifting, automatic rotor lift when reversing and sequence control for folding between transport and work positions.

Optional section control further reduces operator workload by automatically raising and lowering individual rotors on irregular field shapes. Operation is managed through an IsoBus controller, allowing all machine functions to be controlled from the tractor terminal.

Krone says the Swadro TC 1250 Pro combines the manoeuvrability of the compact four-rotor rake with automation and intelligent control features previously found on its larger TC 1370 Pro and TC 1570 Pro-series machines, targeting forage producers and contractors seeking greater efficiency and operator comfort.
