Former Health Secretary Wes Streeting, who resigned from the position in protest at Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer's leadership, said: "I am off on the first of what will be a number of stops to people and places that Labour have lost since the General Election. And I tell you what, if this country hits hard times, as we have done in recent years, we are going to need our farmers. So let's go and talk about how we win them back."
