GIANTS Software have announced the release of the next instalment of the Farming Simulator series.听
The international gaming series had debuted its esports league in the UK at leading machinery event , in January 2024.
Farming Simulator 25 is available to pre-order now and will be released on November 12 on PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Changes from the last PC/console edition, Farming Simulator 22 which sold over 6 million copies, include the addition of asian farming, upgraded gameplay and technology. The developers have also added over 400 machines to the game, with new crops and animals for the user to explore.

The cinematic trailer released with the announcement of the game champions farming and says, 'all around the world farmers know farming is an art',听'the best lessons are learned under the wide-open sky' and 'in the art of farming, the soil is the canvas, the seeds are the paint and the harvest is the masterpiece.'

The developers have focused on adding more agricultural variety to Farming Simulator 25, with a choice of location between a 'lush East Asian landscape', 'a North American environment' or a 'Central European location'.
The option to farm two types of rice, spinach and buffalo are some new key additions since the popular Farming Simulator 22 game.
Machinery options in Farming Simulator 25 remain unparalleled with choices continuing from manufacturers such as John Deere, Fendt, Kubota and CLAAS.听
The cover for the game sports the tractor of the year winner, the CLAAS Xerion, and anyone who pre-orders will get a free 'MacDon pack'.听

GIANTS Software will be competing with gaming industry leaders EA-Sports and Activision who have also recently announced the release of new games towards the end of this year.听
Chief executive Christian Ammann said, "Farming is a passion shared by many, both in real life and virtually,听Farming Simulator 25 enhances the series with deeper gameplay and greater immersion, becoming the favourite hobby for both experienced farmers and beginners. We cultivate this passion by providing a relaxing, family-friendly, community-oriented, and rewarding experience for everyone."
Many will be hoping that the popular Farming Simulator esports league, the season 5 fifth tournament of which took place at LAMMA 2024, will continue to expand with the launch of the new Farming Simulator 25 game.
