Police investigating suspected theft of nine pigs from Staffordshire farm

Officers said the suspect drove up a track to gain access to the farm before leaving the scene with the stolen pigs

A farmer in Lichfield has been targeted by thieves after nine pigs were reportedly stolen in two separate incidents.

Staffordshire Police said the pigs were stolen from a farm on Tamworth Road between October 3 and October 9 - with a further six pigs left injured - over two incidents.

Officers said the suspect drove up a track to gain access to the farm before leaving the scene with the stolen pigs.

Police said they are currently reviewing CCTV from both incidents.
