Conservative MP Kevin Hollinrake has launched a petition which urges Government to create a dedicated Wildfire Recovery Fund to support farmers and land managers with fair compensation and ongoing support. Mr Hollinrake said the efforts of rural communities, who were on the frontline of incidents last year, went unnoticed with businesses having faced financial and emotional strain.
