Kubota UK appoints Hughes Agri Oswestry as new Shropshire and Mid Wales dealer

Kubota UK has expanded its agricultural and ground care dealer network with the appointment of Hughes Agri Oswestry as a full-line dealer covering north Shropshire and the north/mid-Wales border region.

Established in April 2025 following the closure of the family-run Hughes Bros business, Hughes Agri has already been supporting existing Kubota customers with parts, repairs and warranty work. The company is run by six equal partners, all with previous dealership and Kubota experience, bringing together a range of technical, sales and aftersales skills to support the new venture.

The new appointment will see Hughes Agri supply and support Kubota's tractor, implement and ground care ranges, including M-series tractors, the EK1 compact tractor and FC4 commercial mower line-up. Kubota says the move strengthens customer sales and aftersales support across the region, while providing continuity for existing users of the brand.

Dealer principal Tim Hughes said the business remains focused on customer service and growth, with the experienced team aiming to build on the strong reputation established locally through the previous dealership operation.
