Jeremy Clarkson: "We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do series six] and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six."

Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that the hit Prime Video farming show Clarkson's Farm will return for a sixth season, and has hinted at the possibility of a seventh.

The news comes despite previous concerns that the fifth season might mark the end of the show.Ìý

In November 2025, Mr Clarkson told The Sunday Times that the team would be taking a break after filming season five and that it would 'probably be the last unless I find a good enough reason for doing another season.'

The comments sparked concern within the farming community about losing the link the series had created between farmers and the public.

'Thank you, Jeremy'

Cheshire dairy farmer Kelly Seaton said at the time: "The show has given the industry allies across not just the UK but the world who have fallen in love with the entertainment of the show whilst learning so much about how food is produced and how much farmers truly care about the work we do… thank you Jeremy, what you have done has been amazing for the industry."

However, speaking to The Sun, Mr Clarkson has confirmed that not only will there be a sixth series, but there is scope for a seventh.

"We'll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do series six] and I want to. I've got a good idea for six," he said.

On the possibility of a seventh, Mr Clarkson said: "I said I'll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I've got two quite good ones, so we'll do six and then we'll see…"

Mr Clarkson also spoke about the filming break between seasons: "We've never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn't stop. You harvest and you immediately start drilling for the next year.

"But this time, Kaleb‘s gone off to Australia… I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven't had one in ages. So we just said ok, well let's just actually wrap it… and then, I just said: ‘If it snows, we'll start filming again.'"

Next season

Season five is expected to be released in late spring 2026, although no exact date has been confirmed.

Fans are already eagerly anticipating how the series will tackle Inheritance Tax, following the cliffhanger ending of season four, which featured a flash of Chancellor Rachel Reeves' face.

Farmers have suggested that the show and Mr Clarkson's platform could play a significant role in highlighting the impact of Government changes to Inheritance Tax relief on farming families, even with recent concessions which raised the threshold of relief to £2.5m.Ìý

Show popularity

The popularity of Clarkson's 51AVÊÓƵhas shown no sign of fading.

Analysis of viewing figures by Deadline.com in June last year indicated that series four, released in May, was on track to become the most-watched season to date.

The show also holds an impressive 9.0/10 rating on IMDb, reinforcing its status as a major success for both Mr Clarkson and the farming sector.
