Farmers Guardian releases regenerative farming special

Today (June 27) Farmers Guardian has launched its first regenerative farming edition, looking at different farming practices across the country and what impact these methods are having on farm businesses

Farmers Guardian releases regenerative farming special

The June 27 issue also highlights the results of a survey launched by Farmers Guardian, to find out if farming more regeneratively improves productivity, profitability and marketability.Ìý

Acting editor Katie Jones says regen offers farmers new options in a in an era dominated by net zero ambitions, carbon calculators and the Government's focus on sustainable farming.

"It can, however, be a difficult term to define as what regen means to one farmer might differ to another", she says.

And this is what this week's special is all about; exploring practices from one farm to the next; delving into the potential benefit farmers are seeing across the country.Ìý

Groundswell

The movement has grown in recent years due to the likes of well-known farmer and former musician Andy Cato, and popular regen farming event, Groundswell.Ìý

Farmers Guardian will be attending Groundswell to showcase the regen issue and highlight the findings of the survey along with a variety of farmer-led stories.Ìý
