With a major change to the political landscape expected following the General Election, the seats of familiar figures to the farming sector could be up for grabs.
While the Prime Minister was expected to hold onto his seat, the gap between the candidates was expected to narrow considerably. Mr Sunak is defending a majority of 27,210.

He will face off against 12 other candidates, Labour's Tom Wilson, Daniel Callaghan from the Liberal Democrats, Green Party candidate Kevin Foster, Reform UK's Lee Taylor, the Yorkshire Party's Rio Goldhammer, Sir Archibald Stanton from the Official Monster Raving Loony Party and Louise Anne Dickens from the Workers Party of Britain.
Richmond and Northallerton
Count Binface will also stand against the Prime Minister as well as three independents, Jason Barnett, Angie Campion and YouTuber Niko Omilana.
No sitting Prime Minister has ever lost their seat.
Farming Minister Mark Spencer's Sherwood Forest seat could be under threat. Mr Spencer gained 61.2% of the vote in 2019. The YouGov eve-of-election poll showed Labour with a slight lead in the seat.
Current Defra Secretary Steve Barclay was expected to hold his seat.
Former Prime Minister and Defra Secretary Liz Truss is a candidate for South West Norfolk, but her seat was a toss up with the Labour Party.

Clacton will also be closely watched, with Reform UK's Nigel Farage expected to win the seat from the Conservative Party.
Farmer candidates
Angela Raynor's seat in Ashton-under-Lyne is being challenged by Conservative Rural Forum chair Lizzie Hacking, although was expected to be a safe seat for Labour.
Farmer and Farmers Guardian In Your Field writer James Wright is standing as a Conservative Candidate in Bath. However, YouGov was expecting a Liberal Democrat hold.
Veterinary MP Dr Neil Hudson, previously MP for Penrith and the Border, is standing in Epping Forest, which YouGov suggests could be a 鈥榯oss up' between the Conservatives and Labour.
Dr Julia Aglionby, who has championed farming issues in the uplands and commons was standing in the adjusted seat of Penrith and Solway. YouGov expected the seat was likely to go from Conservative to Labour.
Former NFU deputy president Stuart Roberts is standing in Mid Bedfordshire for the Liberal Democrats. YouGov's poll suggests this seat could lean Labour from the Conservatives.
Jacob Rees Mogg's Somerset North East and Hanham seat was also under threat from Labour.
