Community news: Rugby match in aid of RABI

The inaugural Bull and Buck trophy rugby match saw a fantastic turnout of supporters, with £3,500 raised and donations still coming in. Ìý

The Pheasant Ruckers took on local rugby team Ledbury Llamas in aid of RABI and the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust.ÌýÌý

One of the event organisers, Ted Troughton, said: "We all met in agricultural college and have kept in touch ever since. This year, we thought we would do something different and organise a charity rugby match to help members of the farming community.ÌýÌý

"Farming can often be isolating, so social events like the rugby match are a good way for us to catch up over a beer. It is also great to see so many members of the community come together and cheer us all on from the sidelines."ÌýÌý
