Special #Farm24 podcast: Kelvin Fletcher on his new farming life

In a special episode ahead of Farmers Guardian's 24 hours in farming event, Alex Black spoke to actor turned farmer Kelvin Fletcher on why he swapped city life for a peak district farm and why he is supporting the 51AVÊÓƵ24 campaign on August 3.

Mr Fletcher is best known for his twenty year stint on Emmerdale as Andy Sugden and was the winner of the seventeenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.

With no prior farming experience, Mr Fletcher and his wife, Liz, bought a 120 acre farm in the Peak District.Ìý

The couple and their family featured on BBC's ‘Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure' in 2022 which detailed his journey in buying the farm and bringing it back to its former glory.

Last week, he announced he will be back on television this autumn with a brand new farm series for ITV, Fletcher's Family Farm.
